Whilst we do have a pricing guide for our cakes, our prices are subject to change according to your individual requirements.
It can all seem a bit confusing at times, so we’ve created a Blog Post to help our clients understand a little bit more about how it all works. Sugar flowers, sugar models, toy characters or embellishments and edible images for example, are just some of the elements that make an impact on price. Feel free to use our pricing guide to give you a starting point and don’t hesitate at all to email us with your specific requirements for a more accurate quote.
The size of the cake a client needs is dependent on how many servings they wish to yield and of what size.
It can be tricky to work out exactly how much cake you need. The last thing anyone wants to happen is for you not to have enough cake, but equally, while it probably won’t go to waste, you certainly don’t want too much more than you need either!
If you’re not sure where to start, why not head over to our blog post where we share with you a size guide help you get an approximation of how much cake you may need for your particular occasion.
We take food intolerance extremely seriously and so we would ask that you please note we are not an allergen free kitchen. If you have a severe allergy you must please state this before ordering from us.
Most of our recipes can be altered to make them gluten, dairy and/or nut free, so but although we do our best, we cannot guarantee of any traces of these allergens in the kitchen as there are traces that may be found in the kitchen and in the air.
We normally require at least 3 months’ notice for wedding cakes. However please do get in contact to confirm our availability. For all other celebration cakes and cupcakes, ordinarily we require a 1 month notice period, but once again do check for our availability.
For large orders please allow a minimum of 1 months’ notice.
Where possible we will try to accommodate orders at short notice.
All prices are approximate. Cake orders are not confirmed until either a deposit has been paid if the order is placed over a month in advance or in full if the order is placed within 4 weeks or less of the event.
A £50 non-refundable or transferable fee secures the date in the diary.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the quoted price is required to finalise any order.
Final payment of the balance must be made 4 weeks before the cake is collected/delivered. The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is made. For orders with less than 4 weeks notice, full payment is required on confirmation and is non-refundable.
If you are incorporating a fruit cake or a large number of sugar flowers into your cake, an earlier part payment may be required due to the advance preparation necessary.
Payments can be made straight in to our bank account by bank transfer.
The balance is due 4 weeks before the delivery or collection of the cake.
